Hooray for Dekie getting things wrapped up and going the extra mile to advertise the book. Can't wait to read the first volume. How exciting to have a book signing!

My new church choir director sent out an email saying anyone wanting to sing in the choirs had to audition. I know he is trying to weed out some who can't carry a tune, but it made me so mad that I'm not going back for now. He sent word through a friend that I don't have to audition, but it's just the principal. To many older folks will have hurt feelings. Love, Sue

Hooray for the long awaited printing. Can't wait to get a copy. Remember the man that came to our house in Oakdale, an author; that I begged him to put me in one of his books, only to find out that he wrote filthy books. Glad I won't have to worry about that now.

daddy. I remember one time I was with you two coming out of Arlanta. The highway had construction and was down to one lane...he was going 20mph and I tried to get him to speed up as traffic was piled up behind us. He got mad and started speeding and I thought we would die, but didn't.

I was recently telling a friend about the quilts you made each of your children with momentous scenes from each of their pasts, and how your scenes had such character. You can show so much emotion with very few lines of embroidery.

I like owls, bulldogs, FLOWERS, anything with gwenlin flair. 5-7 inches tall to put by the phone to hols pens, pencils. etc. Also like open backed fish.

At least your windmills are funny to the rest of us. Maybe you will have some gwenlins made for Thanksgiving. I really like the one that hold things, like pencils, paperclips, etc.

Gwen, I hope you love the blog as much as I do. I have perhaps a dozen blogs on my bookmark list to be read every day. Not only is yours interesting, it is on a good system that is easy to use and read.

Ros has only two more radiation treatments to take for her breast cancer. Wednesday will make 33 straight! She is feeling fine these days, and I decided my back isn't going to feel much better very soon, so I talked her into a cruise next month. We will sailfrom New Youk up the US coast into Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, ending up in Quebec. That is all new territory for us, and the weather should be good.

Keep up the good work.
